MOULTONBOROUGH POLICE DEPARTMENT

PD Community Services- Good Morning Program:

The Police Department hosts a call in / check in program for seniors in the community.  This program is designed to assist seniors or residents who live alone.  The program allows for clients to telephone into the police department daily, Monday – Friday.  If someone should not check in by 10 a.m., then the department will attempt to reach the client by telephone and, if still unable to reach the client, then a patrol officer goes to the client’s residence to check on their well being, and ensure their wellness.  The Police department maintains an intake information sheet in case of an emergency, and to enable the department to access family or care services should the need arise.  Contact Ginny Welch, Executive Assistant, at the Police Department at 476-2400 or Welch@moultonboroughpd.com. 

PD CHILDSAFE GUNLOCK PROGRAM:

The Police Department will provided free firearm safety kits to local residents through a partnership with Project ChildSafe, a nationwide firearms safety education program.  The safety kit, which includes a gunlock; are available at the Moultonborough Public Safety Building, located at 1035 Whittier Hwy. We encourage residents to pick up a Project ChildSafe kit so that they can securely store their firearm(s), keeping kids safe.
