| MPO Black, a graduate of St. Anselm College with a degree in Criminal Justice, began his career as a police officer in New Jersey. After moving to NH, MPO Black has worked as a police officer for various jurisdictions in Carroll County joining the Moultonborough Police Dept. in March 1995. MPO Black has received advanced training in child abuse investigations and has worked as a part time instructor for the N.H. University System, College for Life Long Learning, teaching courses in the Dynamics of Child Abuse and Police Standards and Training teaching Juvenile Law to part-time police recruits. In the late 1980s, he worked closely with County Attorney William Paine to establish the first Victim Witness Advocate Office in Carroll County. He was also instrumental in developing a Youth Services Unit in the Sheriffs Office. He currently serves as the departments Juvenile Officer, Juvenile Prosecutor and Network / Information Systems Manager. As a trained traffic crash reconstructionist, MPO Black is a member of a regional accident investigation team. As a trained computer crime investigator, he is the department representative on the NH Attorney General's Cyber Crime Initiative. MPO Black is a licensed pilot and enjoys flying in his spare time. He also likes to work on computers, saltwater fishing, alpine ski and has coordinated a winter sports downhill ski program for a local elementary school for the past 18 years. As a resident of neighboring Tuftonboro, he is also an elected official involved in local government. The husband of the same wonderful woman for many years, MPO Black and his wife like to spend time traveling to visit their children in Massachusetts and Georgia. Off.
